Scratch Corner (scratchcorner.com) is an independent data project. Here is everything we collect: your email address, if you choose to give it to us. That's the whole list.
What we collect
- Email address: only if you sign up for email updates or include one with feedback. It is never required to use the site.
- Anonymous traffic stats: via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no individual profiles. We see page counts, not people.
How we use it
To send the emails you asked for. Nothing else. We never sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone.
Third parties
Cloudflare hosts the site, stores subscriber emails, and provides the cookieless analytics. Emails are delivered through our email-sending provider. Neither may use your address for anything of their own.
Retention and unsubscribe
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe, honored within 10 business days (in practice, immediately). Want your address deleted entirely? Email hello@scratchcorner.com and it's gone.
California residents
You may ask what we hold about you (at most: an email address) and ask us to delete it: email hello@scratchcorner.com. We do not sell personal information. On "Do Not Track" browser signals: our analytics never track you across sites in the first place, so there is nothing to turn off — the site behaves identically either way.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above and note it in the changelog.
